Ubisoft attempts to resuscitate music gaming genre with Rocksmith

Just when you thought music gaming was dead in the water, Ubisoft announces a brand new title coming out this Fall for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that the developer thinks will revolutionize the genre. FortressCraft coming to Xbox Live Indie Games, looks eerily similar to Minecraft

Independent studio Projector Games is developing “FortressCraft” for the Xbox Live Indie Games platform, but the game looks like something we’ve seen before. Nintendo 3DS will not be accepting Nintendo Point Cards, still wants your money

PlayStation Phone is Xperia Play, requires repurchasing PSN content

This week, Sony finally unveiled its PlayStation phone, called Xperia Play.  According to a Sony Ericsson press release, “XperiaTM PLAY combines a PlayStation-quality gaming experience with the very latest Android smartphone technology.”  While the list of features is extensive, Xperia Play does have one disappointing feature.

Cave Story is being remade for the 3DS

No, the headline is not a typo. According to creator Daiskue “Pixel” Amaya, “Cave Story,” a 10-year-old game that has aged as gracefully as a fine wine, is currently being remade for the 3DS.

This certainly isn’t the first remake “Cave Story” has seen; its WiiWare release in 2010 featured improved graphics and character designs.
