With every Minecraft update comes something new and unexpected, and Beta update 1.4 is certainly going to be no exception. While the 1.4 update isn’t out yet, Notch revealed on his blog that a new mob is in development: wolves!

Just when you thought music gaming was dead in the water, Ubisoft announces a brand new title coming out this Fall for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that the developer thinks will revolutionize the genre. So what makes “Rocksmith” different? For starters, it’s a game that doesn’t come with a controller.
Independent studio Projector Games is developing “FortressCraft” for the Xbox Live Indie Games platform, but the game looks like something we’ve seen before. But if you can’t play “Minecraft” on your computer — or if you just want to get that “Minecraft” experience on a console — then perhaps “FortressCraft” is for you.

This week, Sony finally unveiled its PlayStation phone, called Xperia Play.
