Then developer Crytek comes along and releases their sequel to the PC shooter “Crysis.” I was already prepared for the game to be good, but I never expected to be utterly blown away from what I thought was an exhausted genre.

Dragon Age II” will be completely playable in real-time or in a more strategic pause and play fashion according to BioWare, the game’s developer.

Final Fantasy IV gets a final fantastic remake

In the world of RPGs, “Final Fantasy IV” is legendary. Success in its first iteration has led to even more sales and great reviews for its re-releases. In “Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection,” Square Enix brings the title and its sequel, “The After Years,” to the PSP.

This latest, and perhaps last, incarnation of “Final Fantasy IV” features the return of the 2-D sprites that were replaced with 3-D graphics in the Nintendo DS version.
